The buildings of the boarding school are situated in surroundings of natural beauty, and from the school there are good traffic connections to the whole capital area.
The school can receive 76 students as boarders. All students live in single rooms in 6 halls. In each hall the students share bathrooms and a small kitchen. Furthermore all students share: dining room, sitting room, TV-lounge, music room, laundry and various hobby rooms.
Four boarding school teachers live at the school with their families. A matron is in charge of all everyday chores.
Each of the students' rooms is equipped with the necessary furniture. All rooms are alike, but the students are allowed to decorate their rooms and make them cosy and more personal with pictures, posters, rugs, etc. Stereos are allowed, but on account of the other students loud music must not be played.
The students have the responsibility for their own rooms and their equipment and must pay a deposit of 2.000 Danish kroner when they move in. The deposit covers the whole period spent at the boarding school.
If any of the students' belongings are stolen or destroyed, the boarding school will only compensate for the loss if it is obvious that the school is responsible for the damage. All students should therefore ensure that they or their families have an insurance that covers their personal belongings.
