Dear Intro student. We look forward to seeing you at our Intro course for 8th graders at Birkerød Gymnasium, STX, HF, IB and boarding school!(BG). Here some general information for you, who are going to the Intro course at Birkerød Gymnasium
On the day in question, you must meet at 8.30 in the school's assembly hall, which is located by the main entrance on the upper floor. Here you meet your classmates before you are picked up and followed to the room where you are supposed to be.
We start with a welcome meeting, where you get a thorough introduction to BG and to the stx education in general. After the initial welcome, you will meet a selection of the school's subjects, teachers and students in order to get an insight into what you can encounter as a student at BG. The day ends at 1:30 p.m.
It is possible to buy food in the school canteen, but there may well be a long queue, so it may be a good idea to bring a packed lunch from home. You can pay with card and mobilepay, but not with cash. You must also bring something to write on. Paper and pencil are fine, but you can also bring an iPad or a PC if you have one. It is also a good idea to have a bottle of water with you.
